Welcome to Klindata!
As a Seller, you are an independent professional offering digital services to Buyers across Indonesia and beyond.
These guidelines outline the standards of professionalism, ethics, and platform rules you must follow to maintain a trusted and profitable Seller profile.
1. Understanding Your Role as a Seller
You are responsible for creating, managing, and delivering your own services (“Jobs”) through the Klindata platform.
You set your pricing, delivery time, and service terms — but you must deliver exactly as described once an order is placed.
Klindata provides the system, payment processing (in Rupiah / Rp), and dispute management — not employment or agency representation.
2. The Seller’s Do’s
These are the key practices that make successful Sellers thrive on Klindata:
| Category | What You Should Do | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Profile Setup | Use a clear photo, professional bio, and honest description of your skills. | Builds trust and credibility with Buyers. |
| Service Listing | Write clear service titles, include all deliverables, and set realistic delivery time. | Avoids misunderstandings and dispute risk. |
| Pricing | Set fair prices in Rupiah (Rp) that reflect your skill level and time. | Keeps competition healthy and sustainable. |
| Communication | Respond to Buyer messages promptly and politely. | Boosts satisfaction and ranking in search results. |
| Delivery | Deliver work on time and within the agreed scope. | Late or incomplete work lowers your Seller rating. |
| Revisions | Accept reasonable revisions as stated in your package. | Shows professionalism and reliability. |
| File Management | Upload clean, virus-free, and properly formatted deliverables. | Prevents buyer complaints or disputes. |
| Refunds/Disputes | Cooperate with Klindata’s Resolution Team if there’s a complaint. | Ensures fair handling and keeps your account safe. |
| Continuous Improvement | Update your portfolio, refine offers, and stay current with market trends. | Keeps your profile competitive and relevant. |
3. The Seller’s Don’ts
Violations below can lead to warnings, suspension, or permanent account termination.
| Category | What You Should NOT Do | Why It’s a Problem |
|---|---|---|
| Off-Platform Payment | Don’t request or accept payments outside Klindata. | Violates escrow rules and leads to immediate ban. |
| Fake Orders or Reviews | Don’t buy your own services or fake feedback. | Damages marketplace integrity and SEO trust. |
| Plagiarism / Reuse | Don’t deliver copied, AI-generated, or resold work without disclosure. | Violates copyright and may trigger refund or legal action. |
| Late Delivery | Don’t delay delivery without informing the Buyer. | Affects ratings and automatic refunds. |
| Harassment or Spam | Don’t send unsolicited offers, personal contacts, or offensive messages. | Breaches Klindata’s communication policy. |
| False Advertising | Don’t overpromise or misrepresent your skills or results. | Leads to buyer disputes and loss of credibility. |
| Sharing Personal Info | Don’t exchange phone numbers, email, or social media before order placement. | Protects both parties and ensures transaction safety. |
| Multiple Accounts | Don’t create duplicate Seller accounts. | Considered manipulation and strictly forbidden. |
| Cancellations Abuse | Don’t cancel frequently to avoid bad ratings. | Lowers your profile ranking. |
| Copyright Breach | Don’t use third-party assets without proper license. | Violates UU Hak Cipta Indonesia and platform rules. |

5. Payment and Withdrawal Policy

- You can request withdrawal to your local bank or e-wallet after the Buyer confirms delivery.

6. Handling Disputes
If a Buyer files a dispute:
- Stay calm and professional.
- Provide proof of delivery, communication logs, and any supporting files.
- Klindata’s Resolution Team will review both sides fairly.
If the decision favors you, the escrow funds are released to your wallet.
If it favors the Buyer, a partial or full refund may apply.
7. Account Standing & Penalties
Repeated violations will result in:
- Warning (1st violation)
- Temporary suspension (2nd violation)
- Permanent ban (3rd violation or serious fraud)
Serious offenses like off-platform payment or plagiarism trigger immediate termination without warning.
